Dobson Steps Down From Focus

This, according to Christianity Today Magazine. I don't have the proper time to comment on his legacy other than this. Jim, I thank you for the wise and practical parenting advice you offered over the years. As far as politics go, I wish you would have found more charitable ways to express your views over the years.

Let's just hope he doesn't go into politics now.

I like the way you put this. 'Cause I, too, can appreciate his practical wisdom. As for his politics, not so much.

and the peasants rejoiced.

(I, too, appreciated your diplomatic stance...one I need to consider more often.)

He'll be missed.

Retirement could give him even more time to promote his political views and possibly run for political office.

I'm hoping he'll go back to being the wise doctor with a lot of practical spiritual advice on how to raise children. Perhaps he'll restore some of his image in the process.

He's not going to go anywhere. Like Matt Ralph, I hope that he goes back to what he does best in offering practical and spiritual advice to families and parents. I hope he leaves political endeavors and lobbying behind.

Like, Larry, I thank Jim for his enormous gifts in parenting and family life.

Jimmy D. is keeping his radio show, just letting go of all executive functions.
